# Damp Proof Injection Kit – Ultracure – Merchant Kit – Wykamol

Ultracure is a unique silicone emulsion cream for injection into brickwork etc. for the control of rising dampness. Ultracure can be used in all types of masonry without the use of high pressure equipment. The cream is delivered by hand pressure only by using a standard C4 sealant gun into a series of holes drilled into the mortar course. From here, it migrates rapidly into the masonry pores where the injection cream reverts to a liquid phase, and polysiloxanes are formed in situ.  
  
During the curing period, a low molecular-weight silane vapour is also produced, giving excellent migration through the wall. Holes should be drilled horizontally in the appropriate mortar bed. The depth of the hole for various thicknesses of wall is shown it the chart below, i.e., a standard 9" thick wall will require 1 x 380ml tube of DPC Cream to treat approx 2.25 running metres. Curing of the DPC cream starts immediately, with final curing taking 2-6 weeks. Extensions supplied are approx 9" in length.
